Ambassador Houssam Diab Visit to Kano State

The Ambassador of Lebanon to Nigeria Mr. Houssam Diab went on a three day trip to visit the Lebanese community in Kano State.

His tour started with the consulate where he was received by the Honorary Consul Mr. Khalil Muselmani. The visit was an opportunity to formally announce the commencement of the work of the Consulate in Kano. Following his visit to the consulate, a reception by the administration, staff and students of the Lebanese School was held for the Ambassador.

The Ambassador also visited the Lebanese Club and the recently completed Lebanese hospital, which he urged the community to have functional as soon as possible.

Ambassador Diad visited various Lebanese owned construction and manufacturing companies, who have created diverse opportunities in the state; in different industries such as extile, plastic, leather and cosmetics. The following are the companies visited: Angel Spinning Factry, Holborn, Gongoni, Mamuda Agro Nigeria Ltd.

The Ambassador attended the annual end of year ceremony in the Lebanese Sschool, in attendance were Lebanese businessmen and dignitaries. The ceremony presented an opportunity to call on the Lebanese comunity to be more united, ad to commend the Lebanese school on their excellent work and role in preserving the culture and language outside of Lebanon
