At the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, and in the framework of the campaign launched by the Ministry to document the history of Lebanese emigration aiming at preserving the cultural heritage of future generations, we would like to inform you that the Lebanese Expatriate Museum will be inaugurated during the Lebanese Diaspora Energy (LDE) conference which will be held in Beirut on 7-8-9 June, 2019.
In this respect, we would like to ask our Lebanese community in Nigeria to provide us with materials relating to the history of the community in Nigeria, including photographs, exhibits, audio or visual recordings, old identification documents, testimonies and live accounts of the history of migration to Nigeria (from the date of arrival of the immigrants) knowing that these materials will be displayed at the museum which will be established for this purpose, and which will be equipped with the latest audio-visual technology.
