The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at AUB is a partnership between the American University of Beirut and the Mastercard Foundation in Canada. It aims to prepare young people to be agents of change in their communities, countries, and regions. This program is open to graduate and undergraduate applicants who are nationals of African countries, nationals of Lebanon, orrefugee and displaced living in Lebanon.
The MasterIdea Competition was launched in 2019 by the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at AUB in partnership with the Center for Research and Innovation (CRInn).
This competition aims to cultivate a culture of social entrepreneurship among Scholars’ and support their ideas through trainings, mentorship and seed funding.
